Hailesso (also written Hai Lesso) is an upcoming Telugu rural action drama starring Sudigali Sudheer (Sudheer Anand), directed by debutant Kota Prasanna Kumar and produced by Siva Cherry and Ravi Kiran under Vajra Varahi Cinemas. It is announced as Sudheer’s fifth film. Natasha Singh, Naksha Saran and Akshara Gowda play the female leads, Sivaji has a prominent role, and the music is by Anudeep Dev. The makers are aiming for a theatrical release at the end of 2026; no date has been announced.
What the film is about
The makers describe Hailesso as a divine, rooted story drawn from village culture, set around a jathara (village festival) of local deities. The title comes from a colloquial farming expression. The first-look poster showed a ritual with sacrificial offerings and a blood-soaked sword, with Sudheer seen only from the feet in the form of a fierce female deity (Cinema Express). A later poster, released for his birthday, shows him in a raw rural look with a bell-decorated, blood-stained weapon against a festival backdrop. A large jathara sequence is said to be the heart of the film.

Production and release
The film was launched with a muhurtham ceremony in September 2025, where actor Nikhil unveiled the title. By May 2026 the team had finished a major Hyderabad schedule, including a song and jathara portions, and was moving to Andhra Pradesh around Eluru and Rajahmundry (Tupaki). It is planned for release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. A release date, runtime and certificate have not been announced.
