In 2027, Bhogi falls on Thursday 14 January, Makara Sankranti on Friday 15 January and Kanuma on Saturday 16 January (Hyderabad). 3 Telugu films on file are dated between 1 and 17 January 2027, the run-up to the festival. How release dates are labelled
- Date announced: a dated report says the makers announced or locked this date. The report is linked.
- Reported date: the date appears in press reports or in the cited Wikipedia list, without an announcement we could link.
- Target month (reported): only a month has been reported; there is no opening day yet.
- Date not announced / Postponed: no current date is on record.
- TMDB: the date listed for India on The Movie Database, checked daily as a second reference. TMDB is community-edited, so it is never used on its own.
Release dates move often. Lists rebuild from the daily data check, so a film that moves leaves this list automatically; a source label only stays while the date still matches it.
Festival dates follow the Telugu solar calendar for Hyderabad; some almanacs elsewhere differ by a day. A release date does not confirm local cinema listings. Spotted a wrong date? Send a correction.
