Early life
Nagalla was born in Sathupalli, in Khammam district, to Venkateswara Rao and Vishnu Priya. Her family moved to Hyderabad for her education. She earned a BTech at Raja Mahendra College of Engineering in Ibrahimpatnam and worked at Infosys before turning to films.
