K-Ramp

K-Ramp is a 2025 Telugu romantic comedy written and directed by Jains Nani, starring Kiran Abbavaram and Yukti Thareja. Produced by Razesh Danda and Shiva Bommak (Hasya Movies, Rudransh Celluloids) with music by Chaitan Bharadwaj, it opened on 18 October 2025 in Diwali week, runs 141 minutes, carries an A certificate, and has streamed on Aha since 15 November 2025.

What the story is about

Kumar Abbavaram is a spoiled rich kid who lives for nightlife and his own ego. When his father sends him to Kerala to grow up, he meets Mercy, a kind woman living with PTSD, and mistakes her empathy for love. His clumsy attempts to “save” her slowly turn into a lesson in empathy and responsibility. The director has said the “K” in the title stands for Kumar and “ramp” for his journey.

How it was made

The film was launched with a puja in early 2025 and shooting started in May 2025. The first-look poster came out on 30 June 2025, and a promotional glimpse, “The Richest Chiller Guy”, partly shot at Kochi Port, followed on 14 July 2025. Some of the promotional material drew criticism for suggestive dialogue. The film was certified A after the makers chose not to cut a scene from the heroine’s childhood that the censor board flagged.
