Nari Nari Naduma Murari (నారీ నారీ నడుమ మురారి) is a 2026 Telugu romantic comedy directed by Ram Abbaraju, starring Sharwanand with Samyuktha and Sakshi Vaidya, and Naresh, Sunil, Sampath Raj and Vennela Kishore in support. Produced by Anil Sunkara and Ramabrahmam Sunkara (AK Entertainments, Adventures International), it opened on 14 January 2026 for Sankranti, runs 145 minutes, and has streamed on Amazon Prime Video since 4 February 2026.

What the story is about

Goutham and Nithya, two architects, fall in love in Kerala. Nithya’s father Ramalingaiah, a divorce lawyer, agrees to the match only if they marry in court, and Goutham reluctantly says yes. The catch: years earlier he had a court marriage with his college sweetheart Dia, and the registrar who recognises him will not let him remarry without a divorce certificate. His scramble to sort out a marriage nobody knows about drives the comedy.

How it was made

Bhanu Bogavarapu wrote the story, Nandu Savirigana the dialogues and Ram Abbaraju the screenplay. The project was announced in March 2024 under the working title Sharwa37, the title was unveiled on 14 January 2025, and part of the film was shot in Kerala. Ram Abbaraju brought in Sree Vishnu, his lead from the 2023 film Samajavaragamana, for the cameo. Vishal Chandrashekhar composed the music.

Release, reviews and box office

The film opened on 14 January 2026, with the first show set for 5:49 p.m.; Anil Sunkara said the timing was chosen so it would release before Ekadashi ended. Reviews were largely positive:

  • Sakshi Post: 3.25/5, for the performances of Sharwanand and Naresh.
  • News18: 3.2/5, “breezy laughs despite a predictable plot”.
  • India Today and Cinema Express: 3/5 each.
  • The Hindu called it a lightweight rom-com built on situational humour that suits family viewing.

According to Asianet News Telugu, cited by Wikipedia, it ended its theatrical run with a worldwide gross of ₹36 crore.
