Reviews

Critics were unimpressed, and Telugucinema.com reported the poor response as “a big jolt” for Anudeep. Paul Nicodemus of The Times of India (two out of five) called it “an overstretch of a thin storyline” that might appeal to hardcore Pawan Kalyan fans through its turn-of-the-century nostalgia but otherwise “fails to deliver”. Telugucinema.com‘s review (one out of five) said it “begins bland and stays bland”. G. Gowtham of India Herald called it the answer to what happens “when a concept good for a short film is expanded into a full film”, and Eenadu found some funny moments in a stretched narrative. Samayam Telugu was the kindest, at two and a half out of five.
