What the story is about

Women of different ages and backgrounds win what they are told is an all-expenses-paid trip to Europe, run by two inexperienced tour organisers. A grandmother wants to tick something off her bucket list, a politician’s wife wants a break from caring for her husband, a woman close to a divorce wants time alone, a mother and daughter need space before a big family wedding, and an introverted mother is trying to get over the loss of a loved one. The women clash during the trip and, as The Hindu puts it, go from fighting with one another to fighting for one another.

What critics said

The Hindu called it a well-intentioned but clumsy all-women holiday film: a rare premise for Telugu cinema and a sisterhood the film does capture, let down by a contrived set-up, a comedy track (Vamsi and Ravi Siva Teja) that is fun but works against its intentions and a conservative view of dating and divorce. It singled out Annapurna, Jhansi and Payal Radhakrishna, and a conversation between Jhansi and Annapurna, and found the film improves after the interval.
