Sriwass is an Indian film director and screenwriter in Telugu cinema. He is known for comedies and action films such as Loukyam and Dictator. His other films include Lakshyam, Rama Rama Krishna Krishna and Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda.
Lakshyam
One of his early films was Lakshyam (2007), on which Gopichand Malineni, later a director himself, worked with him.
Rama Rama Krishna Krishna
In 2010 he directed Rama Rama Krishna Krishna, produced by Dil Raju and starring Ram Pothineni. It was Ram’s only release that year.
Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda
Sriwass directed the 2014 comedy drama Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda, partly inspired by Golmaal 3. Its ensemble cast included Vishnu Manchu, Manoj Manchu, Varun Sandesh, Tanish, Pranitha Subhash, Hansika Motwani, Raveena Tandon and Mohan Babu.
Return of Mohan Babu
The film marked Mohan Babu’s return after a long break and his first film with both his sons. Released on 31 January 2014, it was well received and succeeded in India and overseas.
Loukyam and Dictator
Later in 2014 he directed Loukyam, with Rakul Preet Singh, who was praised for her performance. He followed it with Dictator, one of the films he is best known for.
