Ghaati is a 2025 Indian Telugu-language action crime drama directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. It was produced by Yeduguru Rajeev Reddy and Saibabu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainments and presented by UV Creations. Anushka Shetty plays the lead, with Vikram Prabhu, Chaitanya Rao Madadi and Jagapathi Babu in supporting roles. Released on 5 September 2025, it received negative reviews and, according to the source, was a box-office failure.
Story
Sheelavathi, a bus conductor, and Desi Raju, a medical lab technician, are childhood sweethearts who dream of freeing their community, the Ghaatis, from the cannabis trade and the debts it brings. The region’s drug business is run by two ruthless brothers, Kaastala Naidu and Kundhul Naidu. Wanting quick money to clear Desi Raju’s debts and help their people, Sheelavathi persuades Desi Raju to use his scientific knowledge in a risky plan of their own.

Casting
On 15 January 2025, the makers announced that Vikram Prabhu would make his Telugu debut as Desi Raju. Chaitanya Rao Madadi plays the younger Naidu brother.
