Krishna and His Leela is the 2020 Telugu romantic comedy directed by Ravikanth Perepu and starring Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Shraddha Srinath, Seerat Kapoor and Shalini Vadnikatti. It later reached cinemas as It’s Complicated. Those titles refer to the same film, not a sequel.
Why are there two release dates?
The original Netflix release was 25 June 2020, recorded in the film article and corroborated by the Indian Express’s June 2020 coverage. That review identifies it as a Netflix film. This catalogue uses the original public release for its year, rather than treating the later cinema run as a new film.
District’s It’s Complicated listing records the theatrical release as 14 February 2025 and identifies it as Krishna and His Leela’s first cinema release. Neither date is a promise of current local showtimes.
Story and characters
Krishna finds himself caught between a former relationship and a new one. Moving from Vizag to Bengaluru changes his circumstances without resolving his indecision. As he tries to keep incompatible promises, the romantic comedy explores the consequences of avoiding an honest choice. This outline leaves the ending out.
- Siddhu Jonnalagadda plays Krishna.
- Shraddha Srinath plays Sathya; Shalini Vadnikatti plays Radha.
- Seerat Kapoor plays Rukhsar.
Perepu and Jonnalagadda are credited as co-writers. Sricharan Pakala composed the music; the production banners are Suresh Productions and Viacom18 Studios. This is a sourced reference guide, not our own review or rating.
Where to watch and runtime
Aha’s official full-film listing, checked on 4 October 2026, identifies the film as a Premium title with a subscription prompt. It gives a runtime of 2 hours 5 minutes, while the film article’s infobox records 147 minutes. The discrepancy is unresolved; no different-cut explanation has been assumed. Check the player in your region before subscribing. Paid-account playback was not tested.
The 2020 Netflix debut is historical information, not a guarantee of current Netflix access everywhere. This Aha listing check does not establish its original Aha premiere date. Trailers and previews are not proof that the full film is free.
Additional identity and credit reference: the film article. Dates are distinguished above rather than silently replacing one with the other.
