K. S. Ravindra (born Kolli Santosh Ravindra), known professionally as Bobby Kolli or Bobby, is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu cinema. His films include Power (2014), which won him the Santosham award for Best Debut Director, Jai Lava Kusa (2017), Venky Mama (2019), Waltair Veerayya (2023) and Daaku Maharaaj (2025).
Early life
Ravindra was born and raised in Guntur. After a B.Com degree he entered films in 2003, joining the writer Chinna Krishna, and worked under directors including Dasaradh and Gopichand Malineni.
Debut and Sardaar Gabbar Singh
He made his debut as director with Power, starring Ravi Teja. He then took over Sardaar Gabbar Singh (2016), starring Pawan Kalyan, which was a commercial failure.
Jai Lava Kusa and Venky Mama
Jai Lava Kusa, in which N. T. Rama Rao Jr. played three roles, was a blockbuster that grossed over ₹100 crore. Venky Mama (2019), with Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya, drew mixed reviews that noted its reliance on the actors’ real family bond, but was profitable.
Recent films
He directed Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja in Waltair Veerayya, released for Sankranti in January 2023, and Nandamuri Balakrishna in Daaku Maharaaj in January 2025.

He is married to Anusha Dronavalli, elder sister of the chess grandmaster Harika Dronavalli; they have a daughter.
