Production and music
The film was announced with a title promo on 18 April 2024. According to the source, its budget grew from ₹30–40 crore to about ₹60 crore because of extensive visual effects and plans for a release across India. It was shot at Ramoji Film City, in Sri Lanka and around Hyderabad, with talkie portions finishing in December 2024. Gowra Hari, following his success with Hanu-Man, composed the music; singles included “Vibe Undi”, sung by Armaan Malik, and “Jaithraya”, sung by Shankar Mahadevan.
Release
First planned for 18 April 2025, the film was delayed and released worldwide on 12 September 2025. Mythri Movie Makers distributed it in the Nizam region, Dharma Productions in North India and Hombale Films in Karnataka. It began streaming on JioHotstar from 10 October 2025, and was released in Japan in August 2026.
Reception and sequel
Critics praised the performances, visual effects and action, while faulting the humour and parts of the screenplay; The Hindu felt it was ambitious in reframing an Indian superhero saga but did not always anchor its spectacle in strong storytelling. A sequel, Mirai: Jaithraya, is in development.
