Mirchi (meaning “Chilli”) is a 2013 Telugu-language romantic action film written and directed by Koratala Siva in his debut and produced by UV Creations. It stars Prabhas, Anushka and Richa Gangopadhyay, with Sathyaraj, Sampath Raj, Adithya Menon, Subbaraju and Brahmanandam. Released on 8 February 2013 to positive reviews, it was one of the highest-grossing Telugu films up to that time and won six Nandi Awards.

Story

In Milan, Jai meets Manasa and helps her out of trouble without throwing a punch, and the two grow close. Manasa then asks him to walk away, because her family’s violent, conservative ways would never allow their relationship. Determined, Jai travels to India and sets out to change her short-tempered, feuding family from within. But he seems to have a mysterious link to them, and a darker past of his own, which the second half reveals.
