Tees Maar Khan, also known as TMK, is a 2022 Telugu action drama written and directed by Kalyanji Gogana and produced by Nagam Tirupathi Reddy under Vision Cinemaas. Aadi Saikumar plays the title role, with Payal Rajput, Sunil and Srikanth Iyengar. The title comes from a lyric in the title song of Racha (2012). It was released in theatres on 19 August 2022 to mixed reviews.
What the story is about
As children, Tees Maar Khan and Vasudha both escape violent homes. Vasudha, the elder, looks after him, and he starts calling her Amma, “mother”. A lonely police constable takes the two homeless children in, and the three become a family. Years later Vasudha marries Chakri, while Tees Maar Khan grows up into a man who gets into a fight with Jeeja, a mafia don. That fight puts everyone he loves in danger, and the rest of the film is about how he answers it.

Reviews
The Times of India gave it 2.5 out of 5: it liked the performances, production values, cinematography and music, but found the screenplay “mediocre” and the script routine. Murali Krishna CH of Cinema Express was more positive, praising Aadi and Sunil and writing that the film “largely entertains with twists on familiar tropes”, recommending it to viewers who enjoy “high-voltage masala entertainers”. News18 Telugu called it a routine action thriller. We have not found box-office figures from a named outlet.
