Story

Sukumar is a rich young man living abroad whose family lives in a picturesque village in India. Production

Shooting was launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on 23 May 2012, with director Sreenu Vaitla giving the first clap and K. S. Rama Rao and Bellamkonda Suresh switching on the camera. Filming later moved to Ramoji Film City, where key scenes with Aadi and Nisha were shot. By August 2012 the film, with a large cast of 54 actors, had completed 60% of its shoot over two schedules.

Music and release

Anup Rubens composed the soundtrack, and Aditya Music won the audio rights. The audio was launched at the Novatel Hotel in Hyderabad on 31 March 2013 and drew a positive response. The censor board gave the film a U/A certificate on 4 May 2013, and it was released worldwide on 10 May 2013.

Reception

The Times of India gave it 3 out of 5. Other reviewers felt the film became cheerful once the hero reached the village but turned melodramatic and failed to hold attention throughout. NDTV praised Aadi’s dancing but criticised the emotional scenes.
