Ori Devuda

Ori Devuda: what if a marriage decision could be changed?

Ori Devuda is a Telugu romantic fantasy starring Vishwak Sen as Arjun. He marries his longtime friend Anu, played by Mithila Palkar, but their relationship develops problems. A mysterious figure offers him a chance to revisit the past and make a different choice. That second-chance device, rather than an ordinary love triangle alone, drives the story.

Asha Bhat plays Meera, connected to Arjun’s earlier romantic hopes. Venkatesh appears as the divine figure in an extended cameo, and Rahul Ramakrishna plays his assistant. This overview leaves Arjun’s final decision and the ending unspoiled.

Is Ori Devuda a remake?

Yes. It is the Telugu remake of the Tamil film Oh My Kadavule. Ashwath Marimuthu directed both. The Ori Devuda reference records that relationship and Leon James’s music credit. The Tamil original and this Telugu adaptation are separate films, so their casts and release dates should not be combined.

Cinema release versus Aha premiere

Ori Devuda released in cinemas on 21 October 2022. Its Aha streaming premiere followed on 11 November 2022, confirmed in Aha’s own premiere announcement. The original-release date and streaming date therefore describe different stages of this film’s release.

The current official Aha listing offers the film as a premium title, shows a U/A 13+ label and lists a 2-hour-25-minute version. The catalogue reference runtime is 141 minutes; use the platform’s own duration for the version you plan to watch. Access and language options can vary by region and subscription. Listing checked 3 October 2026.

Where to find the related records

The Ori Devuda OTT page collects its platform and premiere information. The Vishwak Sen and Venkatesh profiles linked above connect to other credited films in our catalogue, while the 2022 Telugu archive puts its October release in context. Venkatesh’s cameo should not be confused with a second actor named Venkatesh Kakumanu, who is also credited in this film.
