What is Middle Class Melodies about?
Middle Class Melodies is a Telugu comedy-drama about a young man’s wish to turn his cooking into a business. Raghava, played by Anand Deverakonda, works in his family’s small eatery and wants to open a hotel in Guntur. Here, “hotel” refers to a food business: the ambition centres on serving customers, not operating a holiday resort.
The film connects that ambition with family disagreements, money worries and Raghava’s relationship with Sandhya, played by Varsha Bollamma. This is a spoiler-light introduction, not a firsthand review or a summary of the ending. Prime Video describes the story through the aspirations and everyday struggles of middle-class village families.
Cast, director and music
Anand Deverakonda and Varsha Bollamma lead the cast. The film reference also lists Chaitanya Garikipati, Divya Sripada, Goparaju Ramana, Surabhi Prabhavati and Prem Sagar in supporting parts. Vinod Anantoju directed the film and shares the screenplay credit with Janardhan Pasumarthi, who supplied the story. V. Anand Prasad produced it under Bhavya Creations.
Two music credits should not be collapsed into one job: Sweekar Agasthi composed the songs, while RH Vikram supplied the film score. The linked catalogue credits identify the people involved; that distinction explains their different contributions.
Original release and where to watch
The film premiered directly on Prime Video on 20 November 2020, rather than following a theatrical opening. Contemporary release-day coverage corroborates that digital debut.
The official Prime Video listing currently presents the Telugu version, with a duration of 2 hours 15 minutes, an English-subtitle option and subscription information. Check the title page in your own country before subscribing: languages, access and offers can differ by location and account. We checked the public listing, not paid playback. Its current presentation does not prove uninterrupted availability since the original release.
