Jaguar is a 2016 Indian vigilante action film directed by A. Mahadev from a story by V. Vijayendra Prasad. It was produced by H. D. Kumaraswamy under Channambika Films and shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu. It stars his son Nikhil Kumaraswamy in his acting debut, with Deepti Sati, Jagapathi Babu, Aadarsh Balakrishna, Ramya Krishnan, Rao Ramesh, Sampath Raj, Adithya Menon and Ravi Kale. It was released worldwide on 6 October 2016 to mixed reviews.
Story
A masked vigilante kills a judge and broadcasts the act on a leading news channel. Krishna, a carefree new student at SS medical college, clashes with the senior student leader Arya and falls for Arya’s sister Priya. Krishna is in fact the masked vigilante, and his real purpose at the college gradually comes to light.
Production
In December 2015 it was announced that Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of H. D. Kumaraswamy, would make his debut in Jaguar, with a story by Vijayendra Prasad and direction by A. Mahadev. Manoj Paramahamsa was the cinematographer and Ruben the editor.
Music
Thaman S composed the music, with six tracks in the Kannada version and five in the Telugu version.

The film was released in both languages on 6 October 2016.
Reception
Reviews centred on the debutant. The Times of India called it slick and stylish with all the commercial elements fans want. The News Minute said it was all about Nikhil, who had the physique, fighting and dancing skills of an action star, and The New Indian Express said his hard work showed on screen.
