Sampath Nandi (born 20 June 1980) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works mainly in Telugu cinema. His films include Yemaindi Ee Vela (2010), the blockbuster Rachcha (2012), Bengal Tiger (2015), Goutham Nanda (2017) and Seetimaarr (2021).
Early career
Nandi earned a Bachelor of Pharmacy from V. L. College of Pharmacy. He then spent about three years assisting Posani Krishna Murali, while also making advertising films in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
Debut and Rachcha
His first film, Yemaindi Ee Vela (2010), starring Varun Sandesh and Nisha Aggarwal, ran for 50 days in 32 centres. His second, Rachcha, with Ram Charan and Tamannaah Bhatia, was a blockbuster that ran 100 days in 38 centres; the source puts its lifetime share at ₹450 million.
Bengal Tiger and Goutham Nanda
He was initially chosen to direct Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh 2, which became Sardaar Gabbar Singh, but left the project in November 2014. He then directed Ravi Teja in Bengal Tiger, released on 10 December 2015 with Tamannaah and Raashi Khanna, and Gopichand in Goutham Nanda (2017), with Catherine Tresa and Hansika Motwani.
Later films
He reunited with Gopichand for the kabaddi drama Seetimaarr, which began shooting in December 2019 and, after a pandemic delay, was released on 10 September 2021.

His next film, Bhogi, starring Sharwanand, is set for release on 28 August 2026.
