Tarun Arora is an Indian model, actor and producer who works in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films. A former Gladrags Manhunt winner, he is known for Jab We Met (2007) and, in Telugu, for playing the main antagonist in Chiranjeevi‘s Khaidi No. 150 (2017).
Modelling
Arora began modelling while studying hotel management in Bangalore and won the Gladrags Manhunt title in 1998. He appeared in campaigns for brands such as Raymond, Westside and LG, walked for several designers, and featured in Hans Raj Hans’s music video “Dil Chori”.
Hindi films
His first Hindi role was in Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, and his first major part in Hawas (2004), followed by low-budget films such as Sheen and Ghuttan.
Jab We Met
In the hit Jab We Met (2007) he played Kareena Kapoor’s character’s boyfriend, who rejects her and later returns. He also appeared in Love Guru (2009).
South Indian films
He won praise for the Tamil film Kanithan (2016), played the main villain in Khaidi No. 150, and made his Malayalam debut in the period action film Mamangam (2019).
