Story
An Indian satellite, Mihira, loses contact with its space station and begins to slow down. That puts it on course for a collision with a Chinese satellite, which could trigger a chain reaction and a worldwide communications blackout. The codes needed to repair it are known only to Dev, a gifted scientist who left the space programme five years earlier after a personal tragedy linked to an earlier mission. Now a school teacher, he is called back to save the satellite with the help of his colleague Riya.
Production
Principal photography began on 19 April 2018 and was completed on 1 October 2018. Many scenes were shot on zero-gravity sets built in Hyderabad. Some key scenes were filmed at Mahindra École Centrale, which stood in for the Indian Space Research Organisation.
Music
Prashanth R. Vihari composed the music, released on Aditya Music.
Release
The film opened in theatres on 21 December 2018.
Reception
The Times of India gave it 2.5 stars and found it unnecessarily melodramatic, while The Hindu praised its production values.
