Reception
Reviews were mixed. The Hindu found it predictable and disappointing, and The Times of India praised the plotline but called the screenplay tiringly erratic. The New Indian Express felt that, for all its flaws, it moved away from the usual Telugu template and gave viewers something to think about, and Samayam Telugu enjoyed the thief-turned-godman sequences and the satire of blind faith and media frenzy.
