Sarileru Neekevvaru (meaning “Nobody can match you”) is a 2020 Telugu-language action comedy written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment and AK Entertainments. It stars Mahesh Babu, Vijayashanti, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj and Rajendra Prasad, with Tamannaah in a special appearance. Released on 11 January 2020, it became the highest-grossing film of Mahesh Babu’s career up to then.
Story
Ajay Krishna, a major in the Indian Army’s Para Special Forces, is sent to Kurnool with a fellow officer to break difficult news to the family of an injured colleague. On the train he meets Samskruthi, a scatterbrained young woman who falls for him at once. When they reach Kurnool, they find the family, headed by a principled medical college professor named Bharathi, in hiding from a powerful local MLA whom she has refused to back down against. Ajay decides to take on the politician, mixing army-style action with plenty of comedy.

Production
Mahesh Babu’s collaboration with Anil Ravipudi was reported in February 2019, while he was working on Maharshi. The film was announced on 31 May 2019, along with its title and release date, by Dil Raju and Ramabrahmam Sunkara of Sri Venkateswara Creations and Mahesh Babu’s own company. The first schedule was shot in Kashmir in July 2019, a replica of the Konda Reddy fort was built at Ramoji Film City, and the railway scenes were shot at Muthalamada station in Palakkad, Kerala. R. Rathnavelu was the cinematographer and Tammiraju the editor.
Music
Devi Sri Prasad, in his fifth film with Mahesh Babu, composed the music and recorded the score with an orchestra in Europe. The five songs, including “Mind Block” and the Shankar Mahadevan-sung anthem, were released as singles on consecutive Mondays in December 2019.
Release and box office
The film received mixed-to-positive reviews, with critics praising Mahesh Babu’s entertaining performance and Vijayashanti’s role while finding the narrative uneven. According to the source it was made on a budget of ₹75 crore and grossed ₹213 crore, becoming the second highest-grossing Telugu film of 2020 and surpassing Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi as Mahesh Babu’s biggest hit. It was dubbed into Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
